Lan News: NO LAN TONIGHT! |

No LAN on tonight, not enough people with their names down. However, there is a DC eXtended server running as I type this. Usual password applies.
There won't be a LAN next week either as I'm busy at the weekend so I won't be able to stay up late. Sorry, guys, suppose the next one will be on Friday, 27th August.

Lan News: DC Extended |

Not quite LAN news but close enough! I now have a DC eXtended server running which I'll leave on for a few hours a day, maybe more! You can connect to it using the internet method and choosing the add server option. Type in my IP address and away you go. Usual password applies, if you don't know it then email me! If you don't know me or one of the other regulars don't be surprised if you don't get a reply!!!
It's a COOP game so you'll have some bots to fight. I've added every map available! It may crash occasionally. I have it set up to auto-restart if this should happen but recently I've noticed that the upgraded versions crash leaving an error message on the screen which means that it won't auto-restart when it should because it's waiting for user input. We'll have to test it out!

I think it's fairly safe to assume that the LAN won't be going ahead this week. There's more people not going than are!
* UPDATE *
All of a sudden we have 4 names and I know that Jack is having a friend over tomorrow night! It's up to you, lads? There's probably only going to be me, Paul, and Si playing DC or UT or whatever as the boys will probably end up playing something else? Do you guys think it's worthwhile? I'm easy, I don't have to travel!?! ;)

Well, it's currently Wednesday and with just one name down on the list it's looking pretty unlikely that the lan is going to be on again this week. I think Jack is going to be coming but I don't think that's quite enough! ;)

We're not working the weekend now, it's back on! :)
I think Paul and myself are going to be working on Saturday so it's looking like I'm going to have to cancel this week's lan. Sorry, guys. If things change then I'll put it up here asap.

| Would you believe it? It's now 3:10 am and everyone has just left the lan... and I'm now 6% of the way through downloading DC 0.7. Typical! Oh well, you'll all be able to grab it next Friday.

Lan News: LAN for 12th December, 2003 |

Well, it's been another hectic week for Paul and myself. Only got home after 12 last night. Time for a shower and a bite to eat, then bed, then back up and straight out to work.
I see there are only two names on the going list this week (didn't put my name down because I wasn't entirely sure what was going to be happening work wise this week) so I think it's safe to say that there'll be no lan this week. Hopefully all will be good for next week though, it'll probably be the last one this year. We'll hopefully be seeing Rawdata at next week's bash. :)
