I've upgraded the game server status code and have also added a UT2004 dedicated server. Don't know how they'll run together so I'll probably just run one or the other at a time.
You may be interested to know that if you see a server online and you click on the details option you can also see the players online.

Mouse_On_Mars suggested that I could possibly implement some code into the site to allow the status of the game server to be shown on the main web site so you can see at a glance when it's live.
Well, you may now have noticed that it's up and running. This should save you from asking if it's online or starting up your game and trying to join to find out. :)

New to site: FAQ ( it stands for Frequently Asked Questions! ) |

I've enabled the FAQ menu option. It has just one category! It's also a work in progress so you may find it's lacking something!
I'm trying to answer the questions about connecting up to broadband which I seem to be asked about all the time. I thought if I was to put it in writing it may save me some time re-explaining the same things over and over again. I'll just point people to the FAQ section on my site. :)
Feel free to have a read. If you find some glaring errors then tell me; I've written the preliminary questions in a hurry! If you have a question that you feel should be added then let me know. If you also have a nicely formatted answer to it then send it along too and I'll add it in.
Is there a category you'd like added that you feel will be useful to other visitors to the site? Let me know! Do you want to write one? Even better.

New to site: Updated. |

 Well, it's not exactly new to site, I really must get some more topics set up to reflect the news input!
I've altered the databses for this software and added a table of my own. This now gives me a lot more possibilities with regards to user levels. It was very restrictive having only anonymous, registered, and administrator levels but no more, I have unlimitied levels as I had on my old site! Hurrah!
As you will already notice, I have now been able to update, alter, and add code to one of the menu options. Once again, just like before, you can tell at a glance how many will be and won't be going to the LAN on Friday. As usual it's live so if you add your name you should see the count rise immediately, whether it's going or not!
I expect a bug or two will rear their ugly heads now as they almost invariably do when I start coding [grin]. Let me know, by comment here, or in the forums if you detect any. Thanks.

New to site: User Info vs Who's Online! |

Added a little block I found in one of the directories on here. Looks very pretty compared to my bland, boring Who's Online block. So I'll leave both running for a short period and see how they compare. :)
Oh well, it didn't last long! I edited the 'User Info' file as it was as inaccurate as the original 'who's online' block was. It showed who was online for the last half hour which I find to be a bit excessive. It's nice in a way, it makes my site look really busy... but it's not! So, now it shows activity based over the last 5 minutes. :)

New to site: New theme added. |

Just added a new theme which mouse_on_mars seemed quite keen on. Look for Mtechnik Ultra if you'd like to try it out.
I'm going to start sifting through some of the themes on here and whittling out the ones that don't work properly. If you've come across any then let me know, it'll make my job that much simpler! :)

Forgot to mention this. Just a short note to let anyone who wasn't at the LAN that I've added several more themes onto the site for you to look at and try out.
Couldn't be bothered to download them myself so Mouse_On_Mars did it for me! :)
