New User Registrations.
PHP-NukeI have now implemented a change to the new user registration process. Aside from the graphic code that is required, a new user will require admin approval first before he/she can gain full access to this site.

It's a pain in the butt but unfortunately it's become necessary due to the stupid spammers out there who have found ways of automating their bots to log on and fill the site with X rated spam.

I would think that this form of registration will become quite a common thing soon as more and more website owners get fed up cleaning up unwanted rubbish from their sites.

What a sad state of affairs. Wouldn't it be nice if someone could come up with a way of tracing these people and take the required action to prevent them from ever doing it again? Unfortunately, spammers are extremely efficient at spoofing their IPs so tracking them is virtually impossible. Perhaps someone should find a way in which to monitor a user's IP and only allow their known IP to transmit data to the net. ISPs who dynamically assign their IP's should have systems in place to ensure that the IP that is assigned is the only one used on the port that is has been assigned from. Isn't this a possibility with managed switches?!
